Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world – to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.” Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” After he had said this, he went back outside…” – John 18:36-38a

Before we proceed, I want to make clear that I am not painting those who dissent with what I am saying as Pilate’s stepchildren. This is neither an implicit nor explicit indictment of anyone’s character. My desire is only to rightly ground how we are to live our lives as followers of Christ. Sola scriptura, sola fide, sola gratia, soli Deo gloria, and sola Christo. What I intend to focus on is what God expects of us.

I can state with certainty that I have been cut off and seen the complete erosion of friendships, family relations, and civil relations due to my opposition to the Covid mandates. Some of you who received this post directly know this to be a fact. A few may think that there has been no significant impact because we still speak – although not about the new “C” word. This is rather problematic if living in truth is a Christian obligation.

If you believe that loving one’s brothers and sisters (by blood or by Christ’s blood) requires unquestioned submission to authorities regardless of the reliability of those sources, I beg to differ. That cannot be reconciled with scripture.

At my previous job, a Muslim colleague and I would often engage in discussions of social and faith issues. We were able to be civil and respectful and develop a good friendship with open communication. The more our workplace imposed woke ideology through mandatory trainings, the more innocuous our discussions became and the more hostile she grew about discussing matters of faith and morality. I wanted to address the false premises driving her judgment of me; especially since she knew that what she projected onto me did not reflect who she knew me to be. It was not I who changed the terms of engagement. An institutionally imposed zeitgeist was being mandated based on emotion and the perversion of Christian beliefs. Before long, the list of taboo subjects grew until there was only room for superficial discussion. Inevitably, our bonds of love and respect were formally severed because relationships cannot be built on triviality.

This is largely my experience with those who took umbrage with me over my position on the “pandemic” requirements. The majority of close connections – some that have lasted for decades – have evaporated into the viral ether. Others have been reduced to the zone of grudging tolerance. Let’s just say that Covid has been both corrosive and clarifying.

The exchange between Pilate and Christ makes clear that truth is not merely a good idea but, like love, is the very essence God’s nature. To deny truth is to deny God. As we have seen with the moral collapse under dogmatic, woke, leftism, God had to go and consequently, so did truth. They have told us as much.

“Post-truth” was dubbed the “word of the year” in 2016 by Oxford Dictionary. Believers know how perverse it is to subjectivize truth. By way of demonstration, when you hear “my truth” proclaimed by someone, tell me how it is distinct from “in my opinion…” or “I feel that…” The definition of post-truth gives the game away as, according to Oxford, it means, “relating to a situation in which people are more likely to accept an argument based on their emotions and beliefs rather than one based on facts”. Pick your social issue: abortion, BLM, illegal immigration, same sex marriage, cohabitation, no-fault divorce, climate change; all are driven by personal conviction rather than facts. Not surprisingly, each one redounds by default in favour of the secular narrative.

 

In fact, it is with this in mind that I have a natural skepticism when it comes to claims from authority. Every institution has bent the knee to some degree out of deference to a dogmatic secular worldview. The same ones who claim there is no objective truth will punish anyone who goes off script when it comes to approved beliefs on social mores. Even our churches have not been spared this drift. Many believers still could not imagine that the medical profession could be tarnished by these ideological trappings. For a quick glimpse into the corruption of our medical institutions, check out the oath being parroted by medical students at the University of Minnesota.

Worse yet, these are merely the foot soldiers poised to impose the marching orders originating from designated health administrators. All that is really needed is to corrupt a few at the top who then threaten and defenestrate any dissenters. Once front-line doctors are programmed to prioritize compliance over the welfare of their patients, then the prospect of reliable healthcare is forfeit. It is absurd to imagine that a single institution weighed down by bloated bureaucracies and politics escaped the indoctrination sausage factory unscathed that corrupted every other institution.

Here are a couple of high-profile examples of how easily people can be corrupted into committing evil or simply denying the reality in front of their own eyes.

First, we have the Milgram experiment whereby two people are paired off, one as the teacher and the other as the learner. The task of the teacher is to ask a series of questions and press a lever that delivers a shock to the learner for each incorrect response. The voltage of the shocks increases with each wrong answer until the charges reach lethal levels.

Unbeknownst to the designated teacher, the learner is an accomplice in the experiment. He is directed to give occasional wrong answers and to let out cries of pain and pleadings as simulated shocks are administered. If the teacher expresses trepidation about continuing, the experimenter in a lab coat merely insists that it is important that the process continue. In 65% of cases, the teachers proceeded well into the lethal stage simply because a presumed expert told them to. Milgram developed this experiment to determine how German citizens allowed themselves to participate in the Holocaust simply because they were following orders.

Next is the Asch Conformity Experiment involving a group of young people are asked to choose which of 3 lines is the same length as the target line. All but one in the group is a confederate of the experimenter. After a few correct answers, the plants uniformly misidentify the correct line in contravention of observable reality. In 37% of the trials, the test subject acquiesced to fit in.

Another well-known example involves a waiting room where all but one participant is again in on the test. A bell sounds at different intervals and, without comment, everyone in the room rises and sits back down. By the third sound of the bell, the test subject also rises. The process continues with the room gradually emptying as “patients” are called in. Eventually, only the test subject remains and she rises independent of any of the original cohort. By now, the imprinting is so powerful that she induces new arrivals incrementally entering the room to stand as well.

Now consider the Covid response where lab-coated experts exert genuine pressure; promoting fear, controlling the messaging, and threatening and/or bribing those under their authority to comply. What seems to have been forgotten is that the ones managing the response also hold the power to coerce, bribe, silence and threaten potential dissidents. They have done so while granting themselves the presumptive status of authority, arbiters of compassion, and assessor of facts. What is missing is the accountability to test whether they are telling the truth – the one thing that should matter most of all.

I want to remind you of what has been done under the purview of public safety over these 3 years. In some cases, these cruel policies have not ended, but have merely targeted those who pose the greatest threat to their narrative. Since our objective is the pursuit of what is true, I want you to identify what items in this list genuinely promoted public welfare and were not simply based on deferring to authority and please provide evidence.

• Closing of schools and forced masking of students which impeded both learning and social development while escalating anxiety
• Reduction in physical exercise, sports, and recreational activity, especially for children
• Closing and/or limiting access to churches, small businesses, restaurants, parks, and gyms while keeping open box stores, abortion clinics, liquor and cannabis stores – and even casinos and strip clubs in the U.S.
• No visits with loved ones in hospital, seniors’ residences, or for special events
• Cancelling or severely limiting numbers for holiday celebrations, graduations, family gatherings, funerals, weddings, spectator events
• Placing heavy fines on churches and businesses who did not close their doors
• In Alberta, arresting pastors for holding church services and “enticing people to come to church”
• Arresting and fining people for not wearing masks
• Closing down flight and cross-border travel – especially for the “unvaxxed”
• Firing workers, threatening and/or taking professional licenses for those not getting inoculated (with many doctors, nurses, truckers, pilots, and government workers still not allowed to return to work)
• Using the threat of these measures to coerce compliance for the injections
• Denying unemployment benefits for those fired over inoculation refusal
• The ongoing withholding medical care and organ transplants to the purebloods
• Causing spikes in suicides, substance abuse/overdoses, depression, anxiety, neglect, domestic violence, child abuse, etc. through lockdowns
• Delayed testing and elective surgeries resulting in undiagnosed issues and exacerbating minor issues into major debilitating problems and causing needless death
• Reduction in development for infants and toddlers due to masking which impeded facial and verbal expression and restricted oxygen levels
• No access to direct counselling for those with addictions and mental health issues
• The vilification and trampling of rights – and bodies – of those involved in the Freedom Convoy in an effort to promote personal medical choice and bodily autonomy
• Imprisoning peaceful protestors for mischief while allowing violent and destructive protests to continue unimpeded that promote divisive ideologies like Black Lives Matter and Antifa
• Freezing bank accounts of those who chose to financially support the peaceful Ottawa protest
• Censoring and closing social media posts and accounts for violating government approved talking points
• Refusing care and denying countless “vaccine” injuries to those who did comply based on trust or due to coercive pressure
• The severing of friendships and family ties over disagreements regarding the mandates
• Deaths from medical neglect, death-inducing protocols, and withholding of safe and effective early treatments
• Injuries, disabilities, infant deaths, inorganic breast milk, strokes, heart attacks, myocarditis, pericarditis, heavy menstrual bleeding, blood clots, neurological issues, strange and fast spreading cancers, VAIDS (Vaccine Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome), Bell’s Palsy, amputations, deaths (i.e., SADS – Sudden Adult Death Syndrome), etc. due to injections
• Interruption of food chains and massive debt from spending while many were denied the right to make a living
• Violating the Nuremberg code and basic human rights by mandating an experimental gene therapy to address an emergency that never existed
• Denial and withholding of early treatments leading to the vast majority of genuine Covid deaths; ensuring most were killed by medical neglect and the use of Remdesivir and ventilators

Now, I want you to look back over the list and consider the fact that all of the above took place due to your complicity. To the extent you decided to ignore those trying to warn against what was taking place, who pressured others to submit, or terminated relationships over loved ones refusing to comply because you were convinced that they must trust self-ordained experts that you blindly trusted.

This was able to happen because decent people determined out of fear and submission that everyone needed to go along. They trusted the advice and believed that those refusing the measures were prolonging the health crisis and therefore were the threat to their health and cause of the freedoms revoked by government authorities. You dutifully accepted the premise that the lockdowns were caused by Covid and not a controlling and right-denying cabal of elitists.

What I am saying is not conjecture or an attempt to hurl insults. The restrictions and coercion were only possible because of mass submission and participation in the vilification of the compliance-averse. It’s not merely that you did not join the cacophony of those speaking out in opposition, but consequently, you were not a voice for those victimized by the draconian measures adopted under the guise of public health. We sought to be truth tellers even to those not interested in hearing the truth. While very different in terms of eternal significance, this is exactly how we are to share the gospel. This is because the duty to discover the truth comes with a commensurate obligation to speak truth. We had a physical life-saving message and were treated like Jehovah’s Witnesses arriving just as you were about to go out on a date.

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.  You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?  So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit.  A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.  Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  Thus you will recognize them by their fruits. – Matthew 7:15-20

Clearly, prophets utter divinely inspired revelations of future events, but in order to prove one has prophetic abilities, they need to accurately foretell what is to come. In the realm of Covid, the prognostications have been wrapped in the language of following the science. One of the primary assertions set forth by atheists is that science explains everything and thus there is no need to bring a god into the mix. This is the fallacy of scientism.

Worse than that, those in charge of the Covid response assumed the authority to create, test, critique, control and message every aspect. Consequently, while insisting they were “following the science”, in reality, they were claiming to be the sole repositories of truth and science. This was specifically stated by Anthony Fauci and New Zealand PM, Jacinda Ardern. They did this by not only managing the information, but making projections about what was to come – prophesying, if you will – what we would see based on how well we did or did not comply with their mandates.

Let’s adjudicate based on their truth claims and projections to determine the fruits of their purported expertise.

• Covid escaped from a bat and/or pangolin in a Wuhan wet market. This one is too easy since Fauci funded the research in the Wuhan lab from which it escaped. This was a blatant lie that was censored as misinformation until it could no longer be covered up.
• Masking is effective at stopping the spread. Decades of testing already established that masks don’t stop airborne transmission of a virus. Also, extensive mask wearing increases the chance of infection because it traps bacteria and reduces oxygen levels while not blocking the virus. They actually told the truth at the beginning until they changed the talking points.
• Social distancing will save lives. FDA Commissioner, Scott Gottlieb admitted that the 6-foot standard was arrived at arbitrarily. Because of this, businesses were closed and bankrupted and 10 person gatherings for weddings, funerals, church services, etc. became the norm.
• Children are a threat to the health of adults and seniors. This flew in the face of all that was known especially as children rarely even got symptoms even if they caught Covid. Also, asymptomatic spread was never proven to be a threat. Despite no evidence, this premise drove the lockdowns and social isolation.
• Lockdowns would save lives. In fairness, this was imposed without the “experts” ever determining that the cost-benefit analysis favoured their mandate. They sloughed this off as ignorance because scientists couldn’t know the “collateral damage” – but they could, apparently, indemnify it as a mandate for the world. John’s Hopkins found a .2% rate of protection from lockdowns while deaths due the lockdowns were massive.
• Covid was a pandemic. The numbers never validated this claim. In fact, for the healthy and young it was less of a threat than a bad flu. The findings correcting for false positives and deaths from rather than with Covid are stunningly small. We locked up and decimated our economy and relationships over the flu.
• Naturally acquired immunity doesn’t work. This is actually a necessary inference from failure to acknowledge natural immunity as a factor. They did determine that all needed injections even if they had caught Covid. The floodgates of reality broke through with an admission that natural immunity was far more robust and long lasting than acquired through the injections. Countless people lost their jobs despite having natural immunity.
• Covid shots could be mixed and matched. When access to the same product was unavailable, the Trudeau government simply announced that people should get the first “vaccine” available. This was not recommended even by the manufacturers and was applied to injections that were subsequently terminated due to clotting and similar issues.
• Injections are safe. Highest numbers of repeat infections and deaths from Covid have been in the most boosted, then those with fewer shots, and finally in the purebloods. This is the inverse of what we were told. The CDC is now recommending bivalent Pfizer shots that have only been tested – unsuccessfully – on 8 mice and with no human trials.
• The injections are effective. Since the roll-out less than a year ago, many have already been offered and or received their fifth or sixth shot. By definition this means it doesn’t work. To be fair, Trudeau broadcast this myth at the very beginning by ordering enough Covid shots to inject every Canadian 10 times over.
• Being inoculated will protect you from catching or transmitting Covid. Embarrassingly, those who claimed to be “up to date” on their Covid shots have caught Covid 2, 3, or 4 times including the head of Pfizer, the CDC, Anthony Fauci, Joe Biden, Justin Trudeau, and many other pharma-pushing world leaders. We also had the earthshattering admission from a senior executive at Pfizer that they never tested whether the injections stopped transmission.
• There have never been safe and effective early treatments. It somehow took the CDC over 2 years to approve drugs that were withheld doctors were fired for prescribing from the first months into the outbreak (as detailed in my blog). The FDA is now trying to retroactively cover their butts by claiming that they never denied ivermectin worked; only that they did not recommend it. Even this was a lie.
• The injections are vaccines. They always have been gene therapies that don’t work like any vaccine and had not gone through human trials before being released on the entire population.
• The shots remain in the arm. This lie was recently dropped from the CDC website without fanfare. This would have been known since it uses nanoparticle technology that is otherwise specific to radiation treatment because it crosses the blood-brain and placental barriers as well as traveling to all the major organs including into the ovaries and testes.
• The FDA has approved the Pfizer injections. They approved a submission on paper which is different from the Emergency Use product they have been giving out. There has been no distribution of Comirnaty; thus, the ingredients and side effects of the shots are not included on the paperwork that comes with the injections.
• Remdesivir and ventilation is the only treatment for severe Covid. These were known to be protocols designed to kill. Remdesivir was known to cause renal failure and exacerbate the very symptoms linked to Covid infections. Hospitals administered this with brutal force based on financial inducements from the government carried out against the taxpayers they were robbed to commit this democide.

All of the above was known from the outset or early stages and/or became clear over time by numerous scientists, doctors, and others who have been looking beyond the approved messaging. This is because truth mattered more than obedience. These details I’ve presented above are all true, even if much of the information is new to you. Instead of assuming I’m wrong, I’m happy to furnish all the evidence you need. In the meantime, ask yourself why your media sources did not tell you what I am telling you.

This deception is becoming so difficult to stave off now that “The Atlantic,” – a leftist publication, posted an article titled, “Let’s Declare a Pandemic Amnesty”. The writer, Emily Oster, argues that we should just put the misery of the last few years behind us since everyone was acting out of ignorance.

She maintains that those in charge exercised their draconian powers with the best of intentions and there was no way to know their efforts were ineffective. She attributes those who resisted as being lucky in guessing what would happen. Needless to say, this has not been received well.

I’ll admit that many are angered by this, but mostly because it comes with no acknowledgment of the harm and discrimination. It also fails to hold those in power to account because they were not fooled, but lied to us. We “vaccine” refuseniks also did not get lucky, but applied logic, reason and facts to reach our conclusion rather than following the bread trail left by the philosopher kings and legacy media.

I am upset because I tried to share with friends and family who wanted me to shut up and go away – even though I was doing this for their health and safety. I am distraught in knowing that many good doctors and workers lost their jobs and/or licenses and were harassed for trying to share truth and help people get life-saving treatments. I am outraged at the medical neglect and dismissiveness toward those injured and survivors of those killed by the death shots.

In my experience, many professing atheists reject God, not because of a lack of evidence, but because it would demand personal sacrifices they don’t wish to make. I have similarly come to believe that Christians would rather cling to the presumption of virtue projected onto them by being compliant with the mandates than put their beliefs to the test and potentially admit they were wrong. I welcome the chance to put this to the test, but this requires that we talk and listen to one another. If taking the time to learn the truth is upsetting to you, your beef is not with me, but with truth – and ultimately the source of all truth.
