There seems to be some dispute over whether the Freedom Convoy (FC) protesters are a fringe movement or representative of a substantial minority or even majority. Considering this proclamation comes from a select group of self-appointed “experts” who deign to speak for all of Canada – if not the world –such hubris should be judged as fallacious, irresponsible and, I would argue, downright dangerous.

In fairness, the Christian ethic informs us that certain beliefs could rightly be regarded as objectively wrong or indefensible (for example much of what Paul describes in Romans 1). This poses a couple of challenges, however, for our self-appointed overlords. For starters, these oligarchs espouse and/or conduct themselves as a people who reject God. This is no small matter as this negates any objective moral standard and makes their moral posturing irrelevant. They are, of necessity, merely offering their opinion. No matter how cringeworthy or heroic a certain belief or action may be to the vast majority of the population; moral duties are not determined by a straw poll. When atheists must make an ethical case by stealing an objective moral standard from a God they don’t believe in, they have already lost the argument. Because these philosopher kings already reject the source, we have seen them compel citizens to endorse many behaviours that scripture clearly labels as sin. The consequence has been the tacit criminalization of Christian ethics. This has resulted in the risible situation whereby those who reject an objective moral standard empower themselves to tell God and his followers that they are immoral.

The other problem is that they justify the right to compel others to adopt their nebulous and mutable moral obligations. Even Christians defend the sinners right to sin. We even recognise that rebellion against God’s standards is inevitable and understandable for unbelievers (Romans 8:1-8). This neither excuses their actions nor makes their worldly convictions true. This is why Christians are always persecuted and martyred for rebelling against laws and demands to participate in state-compelled sin that violates our duty to God and our neighbour. Most social laws that are universally held constrain human behaviour based on the Christian notion that people should not be harmed because they have unique worth. Denying this worth is how we get evils like abortion. In the case of Trudeau’s indictment of the protestors, he is demeaning humanity by telling them what opinions they must hold. That is a dangerous line being crossed which even Christians reject, since even sinful beliefs are permissible and will ultimately fall under God’s judgment.

Setting aside the level of support for the convoy for now, we do need to define our terms of what the trucker’s represent. We must also have clarity on what our ruling betters have determined meet the standard of tolerable views. The first stage of this endeavour is easier than the second because the position of the Freedom Convoy is more clearly defined.

The problem with those in claiming authority over the terms of debate is that they view the truckers and supporters as though we are some monolithic collective guided by a hive mind. This is the textbook definition of stereotyping and, when malevolence is attributed to the demographic being defamed, this is also blatant prejudice. To that end, I will present the specific demands of the truckers without additions or attributing motives. Once this is addressed, I will present the other side in the fairest way I can.

The demands of the Freedom Convoy 2022 are that the federal and provincial governments are to:

• Terminate the vaccine passports and all other obligatory vaccine contract tracking programs or enter-Canada passport systems.
• Terminate COVID vaccine mandates and respect the rights of those who wish to remain unvaccinated.
• Cease the divisive rhetoric attacking Canadians who disagree with government mandates.
• Cease to limit debate through coercive measures with the goal of censoring those who have varying or incorrect opinions.

I know these are the demands because they were provided in a statement which has been widely publicly disseminated. I agree with each point with a couple of contextual modifications.

First, these injections are not vaccines. Vaccines are “(a) preparation of a weakened or killed pathogen, such as a bacterium or virus, or of a portion of the pathogen’s structure that upon administration to an individual stimulates antibody production or cellular immunity against the pathogen but is incapable of causing severe infection.” I won’t get deeply into specifics, but these inoculations create man-made toxic spike proteins intended to mimic the virus. Unlike vaccinations, they travel through the body and alter a person’s DNA. We know it is not a vaccination or there wouldn’t be a need for boosters; nor would anyone argue that others need to receive the vaccine in order to protect those already injected. Vaccines prevent one from getting or spreading the virus for which it was created and these jabs do neither.

Secondly, I dispute the use of the adjective “incorrect” when it comes to opinion. I know that the organizers don’t believe that freedom from mandates is an incorrect position, but presumably they use the term to mollify the predilections of those imposing a social, medical, and moral duty to accede to the mandates. I won’t play into the hands of those who present their views as unimpeachable and therefore requiring compliance. I would say that they must not censor “unapproved” opinions.

The common thread that connects each link in this chain is that of freedom. We know this because similar convoys have been popping up across other nations and the Canadian flag has been adopted as a symbol of freedom. This creates the rather awkward fact that our Prime Minister and all those taking his side must de facto consider freedom to be an unacceptable fringe opinion; remembering that one’s critics do not get to define the position or motives of their opponents.

Since not casting judgment on others is a two-edged sword, this would seem to pose a conundrum for me in identifying what are “acceptable views” according to our ruling elites. Since we have not been handed a position paper similar to the demands delineated by the Freedom Convoy organizers, the task becomes more challenging. My approach can be defended based on the following principles:

• Unlike our detractors, I don’t plan to ascribe motives. My conclusions come from their words and actions including their specific demands.
• Since Trudeau has made himself the spokesperson for “acceptable opinion,” he will be the one primarily undergoing scrutiny.
• Spoken support for Trudeau’s words and conduct show overt support and silence in the face of his denunciation of the FC indicates they are sympatico with dear leader.

For those who may be silent or participate under the “I was only following orders” excuse, I give you Deitrich Bonhoeffer’s dictum, “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.” Now we will critique our critics.

• The elitists care nothing about the lives and rights of Canadians, and this extends to free speech, freedom of expression and bodily autonomy. This is exactly the rationale for the FC movement which he has deemed unworthy of even engaging with due to them denounced for holding unacceptable views. Also, his jackboot response to the protestors conveys the clear message that, to his mind, the ends justify the means. The fact that he is willing to utilize the weaponry of denying and suspending the rights being sought shows he holds these objectives in low regard and disposable in the pursuit of his agenda.
• They care nothing about the lives of the citizenry. I have often needed to raise the point I’ve not yet heard addressed and, to my mind, best demonstrates the callousness of the supercilious left. After being forced to admit that the injections cannot either offer protection or stop the spread, they have clung to the claim that the jabs reduce the severity. Setting aside a dearth of proof for such a declaration, let’s take them at their word. Since the “unvaccinated” are deemed to be at a higher risk of hospitalization and death; why is their demand that everyone be injected argued for the protection of the jabbed who we are to believe face a vastly reduced risk. This shows an absence of any compassion and clearly suggests the objective is to punish non-compliance. If this alone was not enough proof of their contempt, keep in mind that the purebloods are being denied transplants, medical services, travel, and access to many venues. They are also being forced in many cases to lose their jobs and/or lose their license to practice, which eviscerates their standard of living. The state is willing to decimate hospital staff by firing doctors and nurses who say no to the injections which impacts everyone. They adopt protocols known to kill and withhold early treatments; sending people home to be sick enough to come under the hospital protocol of Remdesivir, ventilator, and body bag. They have ignored the harmful impact of masks and lockdowns with their commensurate impacts. This goes beyond reckless disregard for life and easily crosses into deliberate murder; especially considering the deaths and severe injuries from the inoculations. The specifics that flesh out these claims will also fleshed out in a later article.   
• These elitists are genuine racists while there is no evidence that this is true of the FC. The obvious example is Trudeau’s penchant for dressing up with pathological frequency in blackface as well as various other cultural appropriations, but this is merely the overt example. In his remarks delineating why he refused to meet with the truckers, he stated he would only meet with protesters he agrees with – specifying those involved with Black Lives Matter. Not only is this an organization whose stated goal is to usher in Marxism and calling for the destruction of the family; but it is largely made up of white liberals and their actions have led to the death of several black citizens and the burning and looting of businesses – many of which are black-owned. Again, I am not projecting motives or manufacturing attributions onto this organization, but exposing facts. Considering “all lives matter” or any variation from the Black Lives Matter slogan is deemed offensive, then it is prejudice against any race other than blacks. When the racist attitudes merely coalesce around a new target, this is not reverse racism, but actual racism. Let us not forget Trudeau’s reflection on the genuine desecration of 30 churches in the aftermath of a false claim that church and state colluded to commit genocide. He labelled the burning rage of the activists as “understandable.” Instead, it showed the arrogance of the same government mentality that believed government could re-educate those who did not adopt the state-defined “right views.” Finally, given that the FC demonstrators come from all “racial” sectors, his dismissal of their concerns carries the racist assumptions that all minorities do and ought to hold the same opinion as him – a privileged white man. This is deeply objectively racist and offensive.
• The elitists covet the kinds of dictatorial control over the population as exists in China. Trudeau famously remarked that he admires China’s basic dictatorship as a means to usher in rapid social change. I don’t know about you, but I’ve never said, thought, nor befriended anyone espousing such a core belief. I would happily socially distance from anyone who might publicly utter such convictions as a considered response to an interview question. We know the details in that he has advocated for what is known as “The Great Reset” (aka Agenda 21, Agenda 2030, Globalism, New World Order, Build Back Better, and the Fourth Industrial Turning). I will get into specifics of these ideologies in a future post, but feel free to research for yourself. We know this both because Justin Trudeau specifically cited COVID as an opportunity for the Great Reset and because he is a progeny of Dr. Evil (aka Klaus Schwab) who is behind the World Economic Forum, wrote the textbook, and groomed Trudeau to fulfill his dystopian fantasy.
• They are happy to see our children used as sacrificial lambs surrendered up for their devious ends. Children are statistically at no risk of hospitalization or death from COVID. The very few deaths that took place have all happened to children with comorbidities. This means that masking, closed schools and social isolation have all had a major deleterious impact on their physical, social and emotional health while offering no benefit. To top it off, Trudeau has been responsible for creepy sales pitches to entice children as young as 5 to be injected. This has introduced needless health risks that have led to deaths and severe injuries that impact their short- and long-term health. This does not include the depression, suicide, child abuse, and devastation of ending access to a parent that seeks to protect themselves and their child from the disturbing risks. There is no right way to complete the sentence, “In order for adults to be safe, children must…”
• The elitists have divided and turned us against one another. Trudeau speculated on whether or not the unjabbed should be tolerated. He put out a post that read, “If you have family or friends that still haven’t been vaccinated, do not allow them to family dinners, do not speak to them on the phone, do not reply to their texts. You need to do everything you can to make life difficult for them until they comply.” The fact that he removed this post within an hour does not indicate a change of heart, but concern that his black heart had been exposed. All he has done has served to drive a wedge between individuals, friends, families and neighbours. It has been clear from the footage coming from the Freedom Convoy that their mission has brought people together and unified not only a diverse group of Canadians, but ushered in global unity against tyranny.
• They will censor facts in order to maintain their narrative. With the wilful compliance of the legacy media and material aid from social media, any content that might cause “vaccine hesitancy” has been scrubbed. A thinking person would recognise that eliminating evidence of harm from the inoculations does not mean these people don’t exist and, therefore does not make the injections safe. When one reporter asked Trudeau why he doesn’t speak about the safety and efficacy of the “vaccines,” he replied that he does this all the time; parroting his droning assertion that the jabs are safe and effective. Unfortunately for this budding potentate, he is not God and therefore cannot speak something into existence. It is, in fact, precisely the hiding of injuries and deaths, as well the statistical failures of injections (including statistical manipulation) that causes me and countless others to refuse the jabs. An edict stating that an emperor that is walking around buck naked is to be deemed to be fully clothed does not make it so. As scripture directs the Christ-follower, we are to test everything and hold on to the good. The real horror lies in the fact that there is a conspiracy of silence to ensure people trustingly take the inoculation. Victims are being ignored if not belittled and dismissed as merely having a nervous reaction. Actively silencing true victims is merely collateral damage in order to keep the holocaust fires burning.
• The elitists are committed to devastating the economy and eradicating livelihoods to satisfy their blood lust for injections. Trudeau and other world leaders simply pronounced small businesses to be non-essential; given the thumbs down or sideways on a whim while filling the bank accounts of the entitled monopolies. Complaints about the devastation to the economy including the massive debt placed on future generations has been attacked as putting profit ahead of lives. In reality, we have always known the two are inextricably linked. Besides, as I’ve already detailed, this is not a matter of “either or” but “both and” which only magnifies the impact. This does not even include the willful destruction of the supply chain that has led to scarcity and hyper-inflation. He also topped it off by continuing to raise his carbon taxes. To be clear, the truckers are not causing shortages; they have only exposed a future continuing on this path by fast-tracking our incremental decline into Venezuela-level famine. Anyone who thinks I am taking this too far, consider that the state is reducing access to goods already based on “vax” status and whenever the state controls the means of production; especially on a global level under “The Great Reset,” this is a guarantee. One need only look at how they have been keeping food and water from the truckers as well as fuel which keeps them and their families warm. They are willing to do it now volitionally; just wait until they have put down the only challenge to their grasping effort for complete social control. Folks! You ain’t seen nothing yet.
• They are willing to bring the full force of the police state to bear in order to crush any resistance which, need I remind you, involves seeking the right of choice and bodily autonomy. Imagine a group of people being segregated because they are considered to be carriers of disease. Authorities convince society that this demographic is the source of the nation’s woes. Orders are given for these “others” to move into isolation areas in order to keep them and society safe because these people are resisting the demands to take a mark (or two, or three, or four…). Several outside the group stand in solidarity as they don’t support this discriminatory action. Resisters peacefully assemble in unity knowing that the state is trying to divide and keep them apart and fearful. When this scuppers the plans of the state, a fire is started and blamed on the non-compliant. They continue their non-violent opposition as reams of state enforcers are brought in to try to provoke an incident. When this is unsuccessful, the police become violent toward the resistance and use the chaos to justify to the rest of the country why they needed to take control. Most stay silent and dismiss what happened due to the success of the propaganda to other this group or out of fear as the “diseased” are disappeared. I apologize for invoking this absurdio ad Trudeaum, but we have almost completed this endgame already.

The latest rumour is that they plan to apprehend kids from the bouncy castles in Ottawa to put into the care of CAS to force the trucker’s hand. Dismiss this if it doesn’t happen, but considering what abuses have thus far been legitimized, such a plan has the ring of credibility.

I have often shared how I attended a gathering at Toronto’s waterfront when I was 19. It was a gathering in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. and I very much wanted to be a part of it. When I arrived, I discovered I was the only Caucasian in the crowd. Booths that were set up catered specifically to black culture. I felt isolated and as though I did not belong. I was not maltreated in any way, but simply ignored. I state this not as a self-indulgent attestation of being victimized, but to point out that even those there to purportedly celebrate the memory of MLK had lost the plot.

Obviously, those in attendance were not at fault for the non-attendance of Caucasians. In fact, every local church – especially those who bemoan the monochromal make-up of their congregations should have been in full attendance. Similarly, any black Christian at this gathering should have welcomed me and opened up dialogue. As I reflect on the single “unifying” event of a candlelight singing of “We Shall Overcome;” it feels like an incomplete sentence that is no longer grounded in a common understanding of the subject we were proclaiming strive to overcome.

This is what strikes me with regards to the convoy. We have been intentionally divided along lines of compliance vs non-compliance – not compassion vs “kill grandma.” Those participating in the actual protest as well as those cheering on the convoy were united naturally out of mutual love, respect, and common cause. Even at the MLK event, if whites came out, for the most part it would likely have been forced; much like when one awkwardly makes the overture of approaching a new neighbour or visitor at their church. It is a loving act, but does not come naturally to most. The protestors and adherents have a common bond that automatically unites and organically connects a wide diversity of people under a mutual objective. We are the ones who eschew fear and welcome all comers who want to join. MLK would certainly have taken greater pleasure at being in Ottawa than at the gathering arranged in his name.
