My decision to start this blog was guided by several considerations grounded in observational reality. Given the times in which we are living, I believe it is vital to restate these principles because I am about to address several truths very bluntly because I am absolutely convinced that the failure to call out leftist ideologies unapologetically is about to bring about disastrous results that all but the elitist will be immune from. I am only stating facts and connecting dots. The infrastructure is already there so, while I am not making specific predictions based on timelines, how (or even if) all this will play out, I ask that you too apply logic and what you KNOW to be true to what I am going to say.

Here is a summary of the intention behind this blog and all my content:

• I am confronting an ideology, not attacking individuals. No one is duty-bound to defend the ideology being imposed by the secular left unless they volunteer to place themselves in the role of doing so.
• My focus is on the secular left because they are the ones with power, influence and the capacity to jettison our rights and freedoms. I believe those identified as the “hard right” have nothing to do with Christianity or conservatism; but they are rogue elements that everyone rightly marginalises and thus hold no real power or influence.
• Activists on the secular left are driving a wedge between reasonable people with differing views – forcing divisions based on group identity that is toxic and destructive. To this end, I argue that Christian principles are not only reasonable, but desirable. Regardless, people are free to adopt or reject Christian values and, those with contrary views should grant their opponents the same courtesy.
• The manipulation of language and distortion of what people stand for (strawmanning) has been weaponized to cause us to hate one another. The activist left attempts to not only frame the issues, but presumes to define who they are as robed in righteousness while turning their opponents into contemptable social constructs.
• Christian values promote virtue, personal and corporate responsibility as well as individual freedom. Leftism is oppressive, regressive and dangerous.

For our purposes, this should serve as a sufficient filter through which to understand the rest of what I will say. For any who are dubious of my claims, I ask you to consider with an open mind what you see happening now and set aside biases that grant the left the moral high ground they have carved out for themselves. As the Bible tells us: “you will know them by their fruit.”

I am writing this just as the American 2020 election day is upon us and hope this will serve either as a forecasting of the future or a roadmap for saving the country.

1. There WILL be chaos on election day and ALL of it is attributable to the activist left and their defenders. The reality of hotly contentious and volatile election day is one of the worst kept secrets ever. What is being missed is that the blame rests solely with the activist left and their enablers. Voter fraud, rioting, burning, looting, intimidation, cancel culture, doxing, fraud, excusing mob violence, suppression of speech, burying of political scandals of Democrats, inventing scandals for Trump, social media censorship, vilification of dissent are all manifestly on the left. The risk of the left and conservatives squaring off if based on the blatant voter fraud and other efforts to undermine the voting process (including subjecting President Trump to endless unfounded efforts to remove him from power) will be the cause. Conservatives respect and abide by the results of elections, but both the perversion of the process and the sustained efforts to take rights and impose ideologies in violation of the constitution will cause them to fight back. The activist left and they are making clear they will ONLY accept results that put Democrats into power. They care nothing about the integrity of the voting system and they have already shown they will go to any lengths to get their way. Preventing such an outcome rightly will bring about a powerful push back.
2. If given the power, the left will pursue socialism and permanently entrench their hold on power with the complicity of the systems they control. We know this both because they have openly stated many of their intentions (including the creation of new states, packing the courts, getting rid of the filibuster rule, giving voter rights to illegals and those in prison paired with ballot harvesting and opposing voter I.D. laws, getting rid of the electoral college, etc.). For those not acquainted with these policies, I invite you to research them for yourselves. Each one is oriented to benefiting the Democrats and undermining free and fair elections.
3. Expect the police and military to be used against “political enemies” among its citizens. Already, the police and military are being directed to not interfere with BLM, antifa and the occupy movement taking over and wreaking havoc in countless cities and states. Police are being cowed into pulling their punches with black criminals and responding to black communities. Focus on social justice is muting effective policing and leading to unequal application of justice. Good officers not willing to ride down this rabbit hole are quitting. The left has already shown they will manipulate police response to further their agenda and there is no overstating the consequences of these policies.
4. They are bigots, race-baiters, dividers and misogynists. Considering secularism by nature cannot have universal core convictions as it has no basis to establish them, the left certainly adopts a rigid set of guidelines for social interaction that will brook no dissent. Just listen to the “social justice” and “critical/critical race” theories imposed through our institutions and “diversity trainings” mandated for businesses. They don’t start by considering what is in the best interests of society as a whole; instead they break us into identity groups and apply arbitrary victimhood (or privilege status) that superimposes a collectivist standard. Once people are differentially placed into identity groups, then they can be exploited and played off of one another to undermine the stability of the system and stoke discontent. Anyone failing to play their part on the left’s terms is subjected to bullying, mocking, name-calling, cajoling, censure or even legally imposed obligations. To be an “ally” means to stay within your lane. These divisions are the impetus behind the violence and protests that have made some form of civil war inevitable.
5. They will eject any principles because they are motivated by “the ends justify the means” thinking. I’ve already addressed the election fraud and framing of issues that they impose through mandated education and force of law. Mob violence, censorship and blacklisting or even firing based on creating ideological conformity and environmental echo chambers are all tools to keep out any counter opinions. They take over institutions they see as obstacles and will only allow one side of an issue. They know this is patently unfair because they rail against any sphere where Christians and conservatives are allowed to express opinions without their filter. The faith of the believer is treated as an obstacle to carrying out an influential role in society (Amy Coney-Barrett).
6. The media is so corrupted that they will bury stories unfavourable to the Democrats in power and endanger the public. No one benefits from biased media because it nullifies the relevance of what journalism is intended to be in the first place. The distortion of reality takes place in terms of the slanting of how a story is reported, what stories are reported and the amount of time given to covering an incident. We already know that in socialist countries, the media becomes a propaganda arm of the government. This has permitted egregious human rights abuses to take place without consequence. The fact that leftists currently controlling the dissemination of information are already serving as handmaids for the Democrats makes any claim that granting them greater power will result in moderation beyond outlandish. Once the restraints are off, the abuses will hit full stride. If this is a matter of indifference to you since you support the agenda and don’t expect to be targeted yourself, this only reveals your hypocrisy, lack of character and gullibility.
7. Expect the economy to tank, inflation to skyrocket and food to become scarce. Even before the shutdown, the government was spending well beyond what it could afford while growing the public sector and reducing private businesses. With the lockdowns, countless small businesses have and will continue to go under. Not only is this a poor foundation to rebuild, but homes are losing their buying power which means they won’t have disposable income – notably to purchase from small businesses. The ballooning reliance on government bail-outs increases government dependence and vastly grows the debt and deficit not only for government, but individuals. Furthermore, there is a huge push toward a cashless society which allows government control over the cost and availability of products, allows them to track where and what people buy as well as from whom. They can then have full access to your funds which also means directly accessing them. This is not exaggeration. Academic elitists like Cloward and Piven have promoted overwhelming the system in order to force people under government control. Leftist economists like John Maynard Keynes have advocated a country spending itself into prosperity – a fool’s errand that has NEVER been shown to be successful and we know to be nonsensical in the realm of our personal finances. Incomes will dwindle as well as the food chain and creation of goods across the board. This ALWAYS happens under socialist systems of government control (including starvation of the public) because the people are disincentivized from producing and government is indifferent to and incapable of meeting needs. When people become merely part of a collective, they stop being individuals with unique value by virtue of being created by God. As Stalin famously said, “a single death is a tragedy; a million deaths is a statistic.”
8. Democrats will continue to expand their grasp on power by never letting a crisis go to waste. We know this because former Obama Chief of Staff and mayor of Chicago famously championed this sentiment before the federal government pushed through a wasteful 2 trillion dollar “relief bill” that mired the country in a grossly irresponsible wasteful spending piled onto already out of control debt. Certainly, the best way to create dependence and make socialism inevitable is to eradicate the value of fiat currency and/or move to a “cashless society.” Once the public loses complete agency over their finances and direct access to services, they have fully put themselves in the hands of elected officials who exempt themselves from the restrictions placed on everyone outside the mechanisms of control. After this step, all bets are off in terms of how disastrous this will be to the welfare, freedom or even survival of the citizenry. Case in point – a “right to die” becomes a duty to die as the cost of health care becomes increasingly unsustainable and people are just an item on the ledger.
9. Once the constitution is nullified by determining that one’s rights come not from God, but from government, expect to see major restrictions on what should be basic freedoms. The response to the Wuhan CCP (Chinese Communist Party) flu is a perfect example of authoritarian government overreach. Whether it be the silencing of virologists, immunologists and other experts from exposing deceptive or outright untrue claims, demanding the wearing of facemasks (including hinting at a facemask wearing mandate) while evidence to the efficacy of masks runs from unproven to contraindicated, insisting on both facemasks and social distancing, uneven application of laws that benefits certain sectors, a possible mandatory vaccine, conflating numbers of those infected through countless strategies (grouping those who dies “with” the Wuhan CCP flu with those who died from it, assuming causation, vast testing showing false positives, releasing statistics selectively to suggest a boost in cases or deaths, conflating deaths with positive tests, etc.), changing the narrative from “flattening the curve” to stopping cases, hiding the average age of those dying from the CCP flu as consistent with the expected life span, obscuring the fact of the particularly devastating impact on seniors and those with preconditions (accounting for over 94% of all deaths), ignoring data from places like Sweden who didn’t impose the lockdowns and restrictions with no appreciably high death rates while deaths have reached a statistical zero, ignoring the huge escalation in rates of suicide, domestic violence, drug abuse, depression, etc. because of the lockdown…) This has been an intentional effort to generate fear in the public and increase their comfort with government granting or lifting rights on a whim with a pliant public not only accepting this, but becoming angry with those pointing this our or wanting the right to decide for themselves. It has been interesting to see advocates of “my body, my choice” when it comes to directing a doctor to kill the child in the womb suddenly insist that government does, in fact, have the right to dictate all we do and who we may socialize with for an indefinite period based on a virus that is less lethal to the general public than the flu.
10. Devious foreign actors will gain increasing control over our speech, freedoms, privacy and take jobs while being immune from criticism. Not only does China clearly control what government, media and athletes say and do, but there is plenty of reason to believe in light of the recent Hunter Biden laptop scandal that Joe Biden is beholden to the Chi-coms and that they have dirt they can blackmail him over. Politically correct speech doesn’t even allow for calling out the atrocities of China’s one (two) child policy, organ harvesting, concentration camps and vast access to our technology including military secrets. China is only one prominent player, but the left has shown themselves to be appeasers of Islamic nations and are welcoming in illegal aliens strictly for political motives. Rights will be further sublimated to special interest groups empowered through accommodations. We will become especially vulnerable at a time when clarity and strength are most needed.

Much more could be said, but this should provide more than enough reason to repel any effort to venture further along the path the radical left has set out for us. One could easily question why the same people in a previous iteration advocated breaking free from authorities telling us what to do into agents of group conformity. The answer is easy. They jettisoned God from the equation. I have said it before and will continue to do so. The constitution was the perfect foundation for a “Christian government” because Christianity is not coercive. It provides the best soil for rights, freedoms and necessary laws that respect everyone. The further people stray and suffer the natural and/or legal consequences of going against Christian principles, the worse off they and society become.

Christian values are hated because they focus on personal responsibility, promote self-control and putting principles ahead of desires. Rejecting God means wanting to let our libido carry us and when the guilt and personal costs of doing what we know at our core to be wrong surface, we seek to dull the condemnation we ourselves feel by trying to sear the conscience and force others to pay the bill. God reminds us of how far short we fall from how we were meant to live. Also, dependence on God and our family is instead given over to government and we outsource our protection and meeting of our needs to smooth talking bureaucrats that act like indulgent parents. Any parent who doesn’t set boundaries and encourage responsibility not only can’t manage their lives, but help us to become mature. They also ultimately show they don’t care because, as the Bible teaches, God disciplines those he loves.

I’m convinced the discipline is coming merely by God letting us experience the consequences of our own decisions.

For anyone who wonders why a Canadian would care so much about what is happening in the U.S., its because our fates are inextricably linked. If the U.S. goes under, the engine for the world and the greatest beacon of freedom will be snuffed out. There is no alternative.

I want to be very clear – while I see imminent disaster ahead if the radical left wins, I am not living in fear. My purpose in raising these concerns is that I hate the efforts by elitists to lie to me. This is my way of showing that their machinations did not work. They may control the body by usurping authority belonging only to God, but they cannot deprive me of my soul. Their ruinous schemes have not gone unnoticed and I am calling out their ridiculous lies and deceptions. I have an eternal hope that eludes them in their thirst for power and I maintain with certitude that things will not end well for them. My greatest fear is for those about to face this storm without God. I hope that when calamity unfolds, they will be reminded that they need to get on their knees, submit their lives to Christ and pray for God’s mercy and strength in the midst of adversity – knowing God had warned them all along.
